Edward Olaseni Polytechnic had been a long-time dream of the Edward Olaseni family. The Polytechnic is determined to make a conditional orientation to our present educational system that has not met the needs of Nigerians and mankind in general, and to go some steps higher to make a big difference in order to meet the world standard.

The Philosophy behind the establishment of the polytechnic is to promote and encourage the pure advancement of learning in the area of science and management technology. This philosophy is hinged on producing vibrant, well qualified vocationally minded and self-reliant professionals in those human-friendly educational courses as dictated in the NBTE curriculum for polytechnics, Monotechnic and Technical Colleges in Nigeria.
OUR OBJECTIVES
To prepares students for the awards of National Diploma (ND), Higher National Diploma (HND), and some other related awards as dictated by the NBTE. Edward Olaseni Polytechnic is a total departure from Form to skill and from Knowledge to Empowerment. In this trend we will produce technologically and well-crafted graduates that can effectively lead others in their chosen field of profession. We are determined to develop into our students the culture of entrepreneurship. This is an effective dosage for nation-building. The above are our focal points and we are going to tailor our modes of operation along the path of achieving all these and even to the beneficial level of durability and sustainability. Without naysay, Edward Olaseni Polytechnic is going to play a pivotal role in putting into total extinction the prevailing regimented training programmes in our tertiary institution of learning in Nigeria.
The motto of the institution “learning to rule my world” is indeed a thing of personal confession, self-determination from a man or woman who’s physical and spiritual pedestal of survival is not just base on knowledge acquisition alone but on knowledge impartation and empowerment. If there is anything that needs urgency in Nigeria today, it is the transformation of our educational system, and any individual, organization that has the Midas touch to effect a positive change must not tarry to do so.
