
Edward Olaseni Polytechnic’s Business Administration and Management program prepares students to become future business leaders, strategic thinkers, and ethical managers who can thrive in today’s competitive global economy. The curriculum focuses on entrepreneurship, finance, marketing, and operations management, giving students a solid foundation to launch and lead successful ventures. Students can choose to specialize in one of these tracks: Entrepreneurship & Innovation, Human Resource Management, and Marketing & Brand Strategy. The program bridges academic theory with practical training through business simulations, pitch competitions, case studies, and hands-on internships with local and international companies. At Edola Polytechnic, the Business Administration and Management department is a hub for ambitious students eager to understand and lead in today’s dynamic market environments. To be eligible for admission into the National Diploma (ND) program in Business Administration & Management, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Academic Qualifications:
Possess a minimum of four (4) credit passes in the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), General Certificate of Education (GCE O’Level), Senior Secondary Certificate (SSC), or an equivalent qualification.
The credits must include:
English Language (Note: Literature in English and Oral English are not accepted in place of English Language)
Mathematics
Two (2) other relevant subjects from the following:
Economics, Business Methods, Principles of Accounts, Commerce, Literature in English, Government, History, Statistics, Geography, Agricultural Science, or Biology.
Alternative Qualification:
A credit pass in a National Board for Technical Education (NBTE)-recognized Pre-National Diploma (Pre-ND) program in Business or related fields is also acceptable.
Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME):
In addition to the above, all applicants must have sat for and passed the relevant subjects in the UTME, conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
