To qualify for admission into the National Diploma (ND) program in Computer Science, applicants must fulfill the following criteria:
Academic Qualifications:
Possess a minimum of four (4) credit level passes in either the General Certificate of Education (GCE O’Level) or Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) (or its equivalent), obtained in not more than two sittings.
The required credits must include:
Mathematics
Physics
English Language
One (1) other relevant subject
Alternative Qualification:
Candidates with four (4) credit passes in an NBTE-recognized Preliminary National Diploma (Pre-ND) program from a Polytechnic or similar post-secondary technical institution may also be considered.

Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME):
In addition to meeting the academic qualifications, applicants must also have taken and passed the appropriate subjects in the UTME, conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
