Electrical and Electronic Engineering

Edward Olaseni Polytechnic’s Electrical Electronic Engineering program offers a robust curriculum that merges core scientific principles with modern engineering applications to address the world’s energy and technology needs. Admission Requirements: Electrical & Electronics Engineering

To be considered for admission into the National Diploma (ND) program in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, applicants must meet the following academic qualifications:

  • Academic Qualifications:
    Candidates must possess five (5) credit-level passes obtained in not more than two (2) sittings from any of the following examinations:

    • 1. West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE)

    • Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE)

    • National Examination Council (NECO)

    • General Certificate of Education (GCE O’Level)

    The credit passes must include:

    • English Language

    • Mathematics

    • Physics

    • Chemistry

    • Any one (1) of the following subjects:

      • Technical Drawing

      • Further Mathematics

      • Economics

      • Geography

      • Electrical Installation

      • Computer Studies

      • Electrical Works

      • Appliance Maintenance and Repairs

      • Basic Electronics/Electricity
