At Edward Olaseni Polytechnic, Science Laboratory Technology is more than a course, it is a calling. Our programme is designed to sharpen students into confident, competent technologists who can operate, manage, and innovate within any scientific environment from research institutions and pharmaceutical companies to hospitals, oil and gas laboratories, and government agencies. We don't just train students to use equipment; we train them to think, question, and solve. Here, science becomes a language, and our graduates speak it fluently.

Entry Requirements

Candidates seeking admission into the National Diploma (ND) programme in Science Laboratory Technology must possess a minimum of five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects at the Senior Secondary Certificate (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB) or its equivalent, obtained in not more than two sittings.

The following are mandatory:

●      Credit pass in English Language

●      Credit pass in Mathematics

The remaining three (3) credit passes must be in relevant science subjects, which may include any of the following: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Agricultural Science, or Further Mathematics.
